Blood Collection Monitor

A Blood Collection Monitor (BCM) is a specialized medical device used in blood banks and donation centres to ensure safe, accurate, and standardized blood collection from donors. It is designed to monitor and control the amount of blood drawn, mixing it uniformly with anticoagulant solutions in the collection bag. The device enhances donor safety, prevents clotting, and ensures the correct volume of blood is collected for storage and transfusion purposes.
The monitor continuously agitates the blood bag during collection to prevent coagulation and provides real-time information about flow rate, volume, and collection time. Once the pre-set target volume is reached, the device automatically clamps or stops the blood flow, ensuring accuracy and safety.
