Hospital Operation Theatre Table
An Operation Theatre (OT) Table, also known as a surgical table or operating table, is a specialized medical table designed to support patients safely and comfortably during surgical procedures. It is a central piece of OT equipment that allows surgeons to position the patient optimally for different types of operations.
Modern OT tables are highly versatile and come in manual, hydraulic, or electro-hydraulic/electric models. They are built with sturdy frames, adjustable sections, and radiolucent surfaces (for use with X-ray and C-arm imaging). The table can be adjusted in height, tilt (Trendelenburg & reverse Trendelenburg), lateral tilt, and back/leg positioning to meet surgical requirements.
